About pb
pb(Peter Brown) is most well known among New York City's musicians for the unique vocal quality hidden inside a giant Jamaican Rastaman.
In the mid 80's pb quickly established himself as a vocally commanding front man for a variety of musical groups and recording projects.
Vocal versatility led to success as a session singer and a career in commercial music.
By the late 90's he formed his own 5 piece band, "pb". Over the years he has performed with such varied artists as Cy Curnin of The Fixx, The Soulfolk Experience, as well as fronting seminal NYC punk rock/jazz & funk band KingStone.
Although pb's current focus on commercial music composition and production of educational films and video projects results in long hours away from live music, his love for musical collaboration gets him to the studio and on stage in a NY minute! His live performances continue to be enjoyed by appreciative audiences in the NYC tri-state area.
